I'm 23 years old and I have more experience with dentists and oral surgeons then the average person.

Dr. Alan Forfar is not a people person. I went in to have my four wisdom teeth removed, a fairly standard procedure but the stitching was done poorly. I had all four teeth taken out at once. 3/4 areas are healing properly but one area of my gums I fear is becoming infected due to the stiching not dissolving properly. When I went in to the (Schaumburg) office, Dr. Alan told me that I was wrong without actually checking to see if there was still stitching attached to the gums. I am in great discomfort, and even more so because he would not listen to my needs. He simply replied, "I have been doing this procedure for many years, I know what I'm doing." Dr. Alan got extremely defensive for no reason at all. I simply tried telling him that my gums were swollen and still bleeding and that the stitching needed to be looked at. He did not take my needs into consideration, and then turned me away as if I had no idea what I was talking about. I will not be returning to his practice.
