I worked with Dr. Richard J Volk as a dental assistant for three years.
It was a pleasure to have worked with him. He is an extraordinary dentist.
He cared for all his patients as they were family. He took very good care
of the elderly patients. He is a wonderful human being. I am thankful to have worked for a doctor like him.

I have been going to Dr. Volk and Associates for over 25 years. I have had a lot of work done on my teeth. Every time I went and every time I still go to Dr. Volk I feel at peace because I know that Dr. Volk and Associates are excellent at what they do. Dr. Volk and Associates are always friendly and nice to talk to. I would give Dr. Volk and Associates 100 Stars Plus for a rating.

One night, many years ago, in the winter time, I was driving home from work, and I saw a man waving his arms above his head, trying to flag me down. It was winter, so I stopped. He said that a deer ran out in front of his car and to avoid it, he ran off the rode and got stuck in the snow. He said that he was a dentist on an emergency call, at the hospital. Because I stopped for him, he said, come to my office and I will clean your teeth for free. I did, and he did. I have been going to Dr. Volk, ever since. When I was doing work for wild animal rehap, Dr. Volk said he would help. Once I brought in a large snapping turtle that got hit by a car. Dr. Volk put on dental bonding to the turtles shell. It worked. When the turtle was released, you could see the tic-tac-toe pattern of dental bonding on the back of his shell, as he swam away.
I have found Dr. Volk to be a very good dentist, and a friend...He had done a great deal of work on my and my wife's teeth. He is good at finding effective solutions to difficult problems....

I need to write this about Dr. Volk and Associates, I have been a patient of Dr. Volk for about five years I am 59 years old and I have not taken very good care of my teeth. Dr Volk from the start has always made me feel that I am very important patient, he has corrected numerous problems with my teeth. He is always kind and caring listening to all my concerns and fixing the numerous problems with my teeth. My teeth were so bad I was afraid to smile and my self esteem was very low. I am not rich and I knew that I had major problems that would have cost me thousands of dollars if I had gone to any other dentist. Dr. Volk fixed my smile again along with a lot of other problems in my mouth and I didn't have to take a second mortgage to pay for it. He has also worked on many other family members from young to old and they are all very pleased with his practice. Dr. Volk also did some work on my granddaughter who has a few cavities, my son took her to another dentist and they wanted to put her to sleep so they could work on her, thankfully my son had second thoughts about that and took her to Dr. Volk for a second opinion and Dr. Volk eventually did fill the cavities without having to put her under anesthesia. This man Dr. Volk is a dentist who actually cares for his patients and not there money, a thing that many have forgotten.

I have been treated by Doctor Volk for many years, keep in mind I am not an easy patient I have severe anxiety and other health issues especially at dentist office, Dr Volk has always calmed me down and explained everything he would be doing. He is excellent caring always calling to check on me. I would highly recommend him he knows his stuff and has a great staff too.

Dr Volk is a sensitive, caring and very knowledgeable dental professional. I have had a lifelong fear of dentists, but Dr Volk calms your fears and makes sure that you feel as little pain as possible. Dr Volk saved my remaining teeth and I continue to have good checkups. Dr Volk has been treating my family for over 25 years and I would never dream of going to another Dentist.

I have been a patient of Dr.Volks for 40 years and I couldn't imagine anyone else working on my teeth. I once had a hot tooth and he met me at his office at midnight in a tuxedo to take care of me. He is a kind and caring dentist. He always takes his time and never rushes. He is great and generous with payment plans as well which I appreciate. My kids love him as well and still go to him. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr volk is a super caring, excellent, honest, ethical dentist, who is always upto date with the new advances in dentistry. His primary problem is he cannot say No to anyone in pain and as a result winds up doing a portion of his day for free to people who need pain relief but have no money. he is a rarity in todays day and age of doctors who spend less time with patients because of ppo's dmo's and limited resources. i've been going to him for over 30 yrs and his waiting room is always filled to capacity even at 10 pm at nite.
