Dr. Richard Volk has been my wife's families dentist for over 20 years. This was my first visit to his office and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. I required an extraction on a hard to reach back tooth that my regular dentist said I would need to go to an oral surgeon for, but that Dr.Volk had no difficulty doing himself in no time and with no pain. He even called me later that day and again later in the week just to see how I was doing. That kind of personal commitment to patients is something that you don't see too much of anymore, and he will be my dentist from now on. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Volk has been my family's trusted dentist for over 30 years. He is very dedicated to his patients and does outstanding work. He has opened his closed office to deal with a dental emergency for me, done numerous exquisite caps for the family, and provided me with a beautiful set of front veneers. Dr. Volk is not only extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of dental care and hygiene, but takes the time to make nervous patients feel at ease and to make sure caps and bridges are a comfortable fit and a perfect match to natural teeth. I give him my very highest recommendation!

Been gong to Dr Volk for 30 years, he is wonderful I am in my 70 And my teeth look terrific! He has always been there for me in emergencies and I have a lot of them thank you Dr Volk!!!😍

Dr. Volk has given me good dental care and my granddaughter Ellie is now seeing him for the maintenance of her current dental care as well and I would recommend Dr. Volk to future patients in need of a great dentist that knows what he is doing!

Dr.Volk has been my dentist for over 30 years and now my kids all see him as well. He has gone above and beyond as a dentist.He is very caring and we always feel comfortable with him. He has taken care of us with every emergency we've had even when the office was closed!

I have been a patient of Dr. Volk's for over 20 years. Having a history of poor experiences with Dentists, I am extremely sensitive to the environment and tended to put off dental work as long as possible. Not since finding Dr. Volk. My first appointment with him was actually an emergency appointment, during the day at work my face had progressively swollen until my boss said that's enough you have to get into a dentist (on a Friday afternoon no less). Since I did not have a dentist, he called his - Dr. Volk. Dr. Volk made time for me to get in that afternoon. He managed to remove the infection, gave me an antibiotic and had me make an appointment for the next week or so, after the antibiotic had a chance to work. Most dentists would have charged for an office visit and handed me prescription, not Dr. Volk. He said he did not want me in pain over the weekend - and he had never met me before.

I went back, he fixed the cavity and over the years has done the impossible - I've willingly gone in for checkups, cleanings and work. Why, because he is gentle, he explains the work he is doing, why it is needed and any options. He instills my confidence in him and does not hurt me.

I have been honored to be in the office when he worked on those without the ability to pay for his services, something he does regularly and especially children. These families are treated with courtesy and dignity, just like all of his patients. I have heard parents ask what they can do to repay him, his usual response is that nothing is necessary but that if they would like to drop by some homemade cookies, or leftovers that would be appreciated and more than enough payment.

Honestly, had I not found Dr. Volk I don't know what condition my teeth would be in and in addition don't think my faith in human beings basic goodness would still be intact either.

I cannot recommend Dr. Volk and his staff enough, they are a special group of people I feel honored to know and lucky (to say the least) to have them caring for my teeth.

Unlike dentist's in my past I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Volk. He is friendly, informative and quite skilled at minimizing pain, down to inventing a way to inject numbing agents. Everyone I have sent to him has been quite pleased as well. There was a recent period of a number of months when Dr. Volk was out for medical reasons when it was not as easy to get an appointment and a family member was not as happy with the Doctor he saw in Dr. Volk's place, but no more Dr. Volk is back and we are extremely pleased.

Not at all. Every time I go in they recommend an expensive procedure I don't need

As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure. Not only did they give me a local anesthetic to make sure I didn't feel any pain during my procedure, they paused every few minutes to make sure I was still comfortable and okay. I felt like they really cared about me. As a complex chronic pain patient (my pain reacts to the sympathetic nervous system) I would rather be in excrutiating pain than let anyone in my mouth to cause me more. As a patient with a complicated heart issue, I am not afforded to "ignore" the pain. So I ventured down the road to someone who was a top doc at hospital in his field, someone who worked with kids (I am a big baby when it comes to pain and needles.) and it turns out he invented a system for anethesia that only he uses which is effective and I don't feel a thing. He's funny and amazing. I am blessed to have found him and his manner is comical. My whole family goes to him (even those out of state!)
