The care provided is excellent and the cost is reasonable when compared to private dental clinics. Anyone seeking treatment must be aware that the dental residents are supervised by practicing dentists and all treatment is supervised. As a result the treatment will probably take longer than at a private dental office. The cost savings are well worth any inconvenience.

I have been going there for nearly 5 years. Dentists there are doing 1 year residencies, having already graduated from dental school. Experienced veteran dentist oversee many procedures. I get periodic cleanings and exams. I have gotten an implant, a partial made and extractions done, along with crowns and fillings. Patients are charged on a sliding scale, so that has been very helpful with having a lot of dental work needed. I may get different hygienists, assistants and doctors, but I have never been unhappy going there.

If you can once get by the Obnoxious Person at the front desk - the dental care seems to be OK! The “front counter person” is terriable! She must think she is the owner of a dental office! She is a lot more interested in charging you for the work - even before it begins! If they got rid of her it would be a good first step in helping people !

My regular dentist said I was going to need extensive and expensive dental work done. I was permanently disabled and couldn't afford his astronomical fees, He referred me to ISU. well, after finding out their fees weren't much more affordable ISU suggested pulling my teeth and getting upper dentures and an implant supported lower partial, like an idiot I went along with it. ( short version ) It was a nightmare !!, at least 3 interns later, implant fell out, more teeth had to be pulled,never complaining, received a letter in middle of treatment telling me not to come back!! my advice; go to a REAL dentist.

I had a lower left side molar absess. I had swelling, extreme pain of my jaw, left side of my face and earache. I had a fever and cold chills and sweats. My tooth was x-rayed and it was confirmed there was an infection. The tooth was extracted and the dentist had to scrape the infection from my jaw where the tooth had been. I have experienced this extraction procedure before with a different tooth that time I was given antiobiotics and pain medicine. This time when the procedure was done I asked if there were any prescriptions the dentist told me they do not give anything for an extraction. If I had known that beforehand I would have declined the procedure there. I am in intense pain including swelling and ear ache. I am still feverish with chills and sweating So far I have missed two days work, sleepless night and I must now go to another doctor. I will never go to this clinic again. .
