I don't know if anyone still looks at these reviews, but I can't stand by and let people use this to determine whether they see him or not. I am currently being treated by Dr. Penn, as well as his colleague. I find Dr. Penn to be a very attentive, well informed, caring Doctor. He considers every move thoroughly, asks for my input, and genuinely values my opinion. He may have had a period of unrest a few years back, as described in previous reviews, but he seems to have moved past it.

And his office staff is nothing but helpful and polite. His phone nurse may be the most helpful person I've ever met. She returns phone calls promptly, and makes sure that whatever you need gets taken care of!

my first visit today,I really thought Dr.Penn had my best Interest but the staff could have been more polite,the receptionist was kinda rude

This doctor and his nurse are very arrogant and aren't afraid to show it. Can never EVER reach anything but a voicemail. She insist on calling back on blocked telephone number - who answers those? So they leave message, but not a complete message (because they don't think voicemail is secure enough, so that we have to play this game for a few days just to talk. Visits and short and I don't feel that Dr Penn has my best interests as his top priority any more. He has had his own health issues, gone through a mid-life crises, sold the practice to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, bought property in Hawaii, stretched his ears..omg they look so bad.

The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but served their purpose. Every time I had a concern, or if I called to ask a question, the staff made me feel like I shouldn't have called. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating.
