Dr. Silbermann is so rude and unfriendly. I was uncomfortable the second I met him based on his tone and demeanor. I felt belittled by him and should have just walked out and gone to a doctor that would respect me and my needs. The staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. One staff member was standing in the room as he made inappropriate/rude comments towards me. I simply sat and took this abuse completely perplexed by what was happening. After criticizing me for needing a simple eye exam and updated prescription, he gave me a piece of paper and told me that "if the prescription wasn't right" to let him know. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. To say that I was upset is an understatement. I will NEVER recommend this doctor or office to anyone. I will make sure that EVERYONE knows not to go here.

I was so excited to get a new pair of frames and an updated prescription and I followed a recommendation from a friend to this doctor. Unfortunately the visit failed to live up to my expectations. He did not take my profession as a teacher seriously and overall had a terrible bedside manner. He made me feel uncomfortable and offended. To make matters worse I had to wait an hour just to have this negative experience. I wish I could have felt valued as a customer. I will not be returning or referring my numerous friends who wear prescription lenses and contacts.
