I have been a long time patient of Dr. Smith. Over the last 2-3 years I have found I walk out of his office with a huge bill, totally unexpected. I have been made to pay $ at the end of a visit only to find out after my insurance company that I did not need to pay anything I I wind up with a credit. I had a situation where an appeal was necessary with my insurance company and it took over a year to get his office staff to CORRECTLY send in paperwork for the appeal. I was told on many different occasions the paperwork was complete but this was untrue, and they failed to send me copies as I repeatedly asked. Insurance company repeatedly told me they were not receiving requested documentation. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to understand my frustration with feeling financially "gouged" at each visit. My last appt. cost me over $200 out-of-pocket, which was absolutely unexpected. I was not given any options or information regarding my treatment and the fact that my insurance company would not pay for their chosen treatment plan. I cancelled my last appt. 3 days prior to the date and was charged a cancellation fee - additional proof that for some reason their focus is to gouge their patients. I must say, this has not always been my experience with Dr. Smith, only in the last 2-3 years. Very sad. I have sought treatment elsewhere. Dr. Smith has allowed his practice ethics to be damaged by his incompetent office staff.

Not at all! They exceeded my expectations

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
Did your gums bleed excessively after your appointment?
Not at all! They were very gentle and careful
Was the chair you sat in during your dental procedure comfortable?
Yes, it was comfortable
