I visited Dr. Goolsby due to an abscessed tooth on my right side and some pain and sensitivity on my lower left side. My procedure was the worse treatment I have received by any dentist in years. The Facts, I was told I would have to be numbed again with novocaine a second time due his first attempt being in the wrong location. I had to have a second x-ray due to the first x-ray not having any film loaded in the machine. Dr. Goolsby then filled the cavity as if the building was on fire, (a great discomfort to say the least) I was told I would be receiving an antibiotic, which only took an additional two days to call back and convince these wizards I had an infection and I was serious about my pain. I will admit they finally called CVS and followed through with the antibiotic prescription. The Billing Procedure: I was overcharged on several visits that was further confirmed by United Concordia. Westside Dental swept away all overcharges and applied them towards so-called office cancellations alleged in the past, that I was never made aware even existed.

I went in to have a crown put on. During the procedure the dentist I saw, not Dr. Goolsby, had issues with the tools he was working with (squirted me in the face twice with the water gun and did not apologize) and told me that my small mouth was making his job difficult. 24hrs after having the temporary crown put on it fell off, and has fallen off multiple times in 4days even with the temporary glue they told me to purchase over the counter in case that happened. This morning, Monday, the temporary tooth cracked in half. They can't see me until Wednesday because the dentist is out of town...will definitely be seeing another dentist after I receive my permanent crown.

Definitely not! It was obvious they just wanted to make money!

Somewhat, but they aren't very respected

Absolutely not! I constantly have to repeat and re-explain my situation!

Dr. Goolsby did not retire. He had other dentists working for him. The other dentists have seen been removed from the practice. Yes, the previous dentists would tell you that you needed work, not Dr. Goolsby. Based on client complaints and loss of business, Dr. Goolsby let the other dentists go. My family has been a patient of his for over 5 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the practice. They are very professional, always on time and make you feel comfortable. My husband and I were also told that we needed work. Didn't get a second opinion and then Dr. Goolsby looked at us and said we were fine. It was the previous Dentist that was giving the wrong advice. I trust them with my teeth.

Don't trust them. I went to Westside for about 5 years. When I first went there I hadn't been to the dentist in about 7 years, and I surprisingly only had 2 cavities. Dr. Goolsby was awesome and I went under a gum program to get my gums back up to par. After about 4 years, Dr. Goolsby retired, and they brought in new management and some new dentists and then all of a sudden they said I had all these problems and something like 5 cavities. And coincidentally they seemed to be continually bringing in new techno-toys and remodelling their office. Well I finally left, and took about a year off from the dentist. I finally found a new dentist and guess what...no cavities, no work needed. Oh by the way Westside also went out of network with my insurance provider - probably because Metlife got tired of paying so many more claims. Don't trust Westside. If they tell you you need a bunch of work, get another opinion. I am telling the truth....they said I needed like 4 or 5 fillings and a crown then a year later my new dentist said my teeth were fine. So they healed on their own? Steer clear.
