I was very impressed with the top quality of service given to me to remove the 90% blockage of the artery from the heart to the lungs. My wife and I appreciated the bedside manner of Dr. Tatkon-coker. He explained what he and his team did and what I was supposed to do after surgery for recovery.

I have always gotten excellent care at this facility. Dr James was very thorough and did everything expected. I am grateful for the good medical care I always receive at the Mason City Heart Clinic.

I really enjoyed my experiene with Dr TC. He was very direct and honest about his thoughts and what the next steps should be. He explained things very well in "laymans" terms which i appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family for cardiology.

Had surgery on my neck to remove a tumor, and the stress of the surgery plus a blockage in an artery caused a heart attack. Dr. Tatkon-Coker installed a stent in my right coronary artery that opened the blockage. After a 8 day stay in the hospital, I was able to return home an am well on my way to a healthy recovery. I do need additional surgery to correct additional blockage and Dr. Tatkon-Coker is my surgeon of choice to perform the surgery.

Dr. Tatkon-coker provides the best care and concern for your heart health. He will explain details in a clear precise way and go over the treatment details and how it works. He will go over the results with you and any other information that helps in your treatment. I went in for a partial blockage two years ago and had a stress test for a re-check.

Dr. TC performed a basic checkup on heart including, Bp, pulse, weight, meds. and listened to the heart. Said to come back in a year...I assume that means all is good for now... :) Dr. TC has good manner and in conversant to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend him even if he is a Jayhawk..

The staff were very friendly and courteous. Dr. Tatkon-coker took time to answer all of my questions and provided reading material also. A very good visit.

I was very impressed with all the attention I received at the Mercy Health Center at my appointment. The nurse (I don't remember her name) was very attentive and friendly. Dr T.C (Tatkon-coker) spent so much time with me and answered all my questions and also gave some advice about medications such as taking my beta-blocker at night and going back to an anti-coagulant instead of aspirin. My question about Tikosyn was pretty much left up to me to decide if my a fib episodes were bothering me a lot or becoming more frequent. He would schedule next appointment after conferring with Dr. Olshansky and recommend a Holter Monitor before visit. I was very impressed with all the care I received at Mercy Heart Clinic.
