I had 4 severely impacted wisdom teeth/. Levy removed them in 1 hour. I went home, took pills, and was pretty sedated for 3 days (Percocet). I felt no pain, healed up fine and was back at it in 4 days. I have low tolerance to pain meds, so even a 600mg Ibuprofen would cover up a lot of the pain. I feel soreness and discomfort still, even after 10 days... but thats because of the procedure itself (all teeth have more room now and ache after eating). Other than that, I could not be more pleased. I absolutely hate dental procedures (even a routine cleaning will give me nervous sweats the night before...) and this was not that bad. Very professional office. Pam is a sweetheart and was very helpful with all the billing.
My son had his wisdom teeth removed and another tooth uncovered by Dr. Steven Levy in December 2008. During the procedure he burned my son's lip, he sent him home with burn cream. In May we went back to Dr. Levy and told him that the burn did not heal. His response was that he would check with a plastic surgeon in his other office and get back to me. Well, it is now July 21st, two months and 6 phone calls later and Dr. Levy has returned none of my calls. So far he has not taken responsibility for his mistake during surgery.
