Unfortunately (or fortunately lol) I have had to see Dr. Sivam a lot this past year because my two kids were constantly sick. (Silly daycare). She always accommodated me, even last minute. She didn't jump the gun and give antibiotics. She examined each of them carefully and told me what I needed to do to get them well again. Now that my third is on the way, can't wait to bring baby Bella to see her!

Dr. Sivam is the best pediatrician I have been to. We move around a lot because of my husband's job and with 4 kids, we have been to many pediatricians. I can truly say Dr. Sivam is the best. She is smart and kind and knows what she is talking about. She is willing to explain her reasoning and diagnoses and why she prescribed a particular medication. She will write down things for me since she knows I am forgetful and am busy with the kids. Fingers crossed that we don't have to move soon so I can continue taking the kids to her! :)

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. Couldnt understand her she talks way too fast..she also made false statements about my baby daughter and worse yet in front of her 4 assistants that were in the room.with us...She insisted I take her to the emergency room so I did and they checked her out and everything was fine...I was very pissed, i should have sued her for making false medical statements in the presence of office staff..Very unprofessional, too hiper, and doesnt kno what she is talking about. And the office is crappy with plastic chairs.. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy!!! I have 4children and have never encountered a dr like her, I knew she didnt get her degree in america.

They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. They were extremely late to all my appointments. I always had to wait over an hour for them to show up. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them.

I couldn't believe how patient they were with first-time mothers. It didn't matter how basic the first-time mother's question was, they were always happy to spend time explaining everything to them. After I told them that I'd like to seek a second opinion, not only did they not get upset, they encouraged it. It made me trust them and their motives all the more. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy.

I choose Dr. Sivam becuase she was referred to me through colleagues. I stayed with her for three years too long. My children were afraid of her she said to my daughter, "if you don't take your medicine I am going to hang you by your toe nails" My daughter at 2.5 years didn't understand that this was a joke. She also didn't support my breast feeding efforts and once when I wanted to get a second opinion on a health matter she said that if I didn't follow her advice she would no longer be my child's pediatrician. She did me a favor and I thank God I found a doctor now that make my children feel at ease and listens to and respects my opinions and my fears. If you want your kid's Doctor to talk down to you and make you feel stupid and scare your children than go ahead and choose Dr. Sivam. On the plus side I loved her nurses they were the only reason I stayed as long as I did with her.
