The front desk staff was friendly enough to me during my appointment. My problem was with the doctor himself. The doctor was extremely abrubt and rude. He was not sympathetic to my situation ( I had a headache during the visit, which is the reason my pmp set this neurologist appointment). The doctor asked for names of the medicines I took over 15 years ago. When I could not give him a full list, he was angry. I was never asked to bring a list of meds at all (especailly from many years ago) to the visit and told him so. I told him I could contact my old pmp and get a list. He said I should just know them! Really? He is completely out of touch with reality. He made it completely obvious that he didn't care about me or what I am going through. I would never recommend him to anyone. I was treated terribly. He actually made me cry and didn't even care. Finally, my fellings changed from confusion to anger and I told him that he was rude and I would go elsewhere. At the checkout, through tears, I told the staff how I felt he treated me terribly. I went straight to my pmp and they called this dr office. Dr Matibag's staff apologized for the way he treated me and asked the pmp to give me a big hug. Really? I cannot imagine working for someone like that, and I cannot imagine someone else having to go through what I did. Hopefully this review will help someone else not be abused by this doctor.

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. Also, just a "little" note, I tend to judge a book by the cover......but his office could so use some remodeling. But its not the nice couch we are after, it is the service. Which I have ALWAYS been happy with that.
