Dr. Jimenez and his staff is amazing and professional. I know people are quick to criticize and rarely compliment good service. I would like to take the time to compliment Dr. Jimenez. My Daughter and Son have been treated by Dr. Jimenez for over 7 years. They enjoyed going to Dr. Jimenez's office. The Office is fun for Kids with murals on the walls of the ocean, toys and books for children to keep entertained while they wait. I am so glad I followed all of his recommendations. Thanks to Dr. Jimenez and his staff my children have beautiful and healthy Teeth and no cavities.
Thanks again,
Barbara B. :)

Do not take your kids to this man. He tortures children by pulling out their teeth when it isn't necessary and not numbing them!! He should have his license suspended!!

For the love of God be very cautious about going to this doctor. I took my 3 year old child for his 1st doctors visit at Dr. Jimenez office. I waited about 15-20 minutes before I was seen. I had a early morning appointment and even then the office was very over crowded with patients. This gave me the illusion that this Dr. was in high demand. The dental hygienist was very nice to my son and she was the one responsible for taking x-rays and cleaning my son's teeth.
The patient's service area is an open space there are about 3- 4 dental chairs. The parents are allowed to sit with the children. There is a room where the more invasive dental work is done. My son was enjoying his experience there thus far. The dental hygienist that attended my son was very patient and talked with my child during the cleaning process. She explained to me everything that was going to take place I was able to see and hear the doctor and other patients. Being in the medical field (OR trained) I observed that the doctor did change his gloves as he went from patient to patient and use hand sanitizer. He went from one chair to the next with top speed. Which explained how he could have so many patients in the waiting room. I noticed that the staff members were only Hispanic women. The doctor would speak to them abruptly most of the time and raise his voice. He introduced himself in a rush when he was consulting me on the treatment plans. He explained that my son was in need of a stainless steel crown and 2 fillings. From an external view only one tooth had a very slight dark circle the size of a pencil dot, the other two issues weren't noticeable at all. On the X-ray a slight indention was noticeable on the Enamel no where near the dentin. I trusted the doctor and agreed to service. My son was taken into the room where the invasive work is done. According to the RN/assistant to the doctor, for his safety my son needed to be strapped down.I wasn't allow to be in the room during the procedure and the room would be closed shut. I was billed for the use of "Analgesia, Anxiolysis, Nitrous Oxide" which normally takes a few minutes to take effect. I doubt that from the way my son was screaming at the top of his lungs in pain. This lasted about 10-15minutes. Afterwards, the doctor can out of the room with a angry look on his face. This didn't surprise me since that is the only face I saw from the time I met him. My son came out with the RN and ran to me once he saw me. I figured he was scared but he told me that it hurt (the procedure). The nurse informed me that if there was any lasting pain to give him Tylenol. I took him to daycare and had to pick him up within 2 hours because he complained of pain. Fast forward, 6 months later, on & off my son complained of pain on the right side of his mouth. Where a filling was done. Whenever, I attempted to ask him about the pain he claimed that it didn't hurt anymore. I noticed one day that he was chewing his food only on the left side of his mouth. I told him to chew on both sides and he expressed that he couldn't because his tooth hurt. I figured after all the time since his 1st appointment his complaints were on & off because he wasn't putting pressure on the right side of his mouth by chewing. I decided to take him to another dentist. After the exam was completed it was explained to me that the procedure/filling done by Dr. Jimenez was done deep enough to rest on the nerve of the tooth causing pain. This caused a slight infection that overtime would create an abscess if not retreated. On the X-ray provided by this new dentist it was very evident that the contents of the filling was indeed on the pulp/tooth nerve. I'm very displeased and disappointed at the service the doctor provided. I had no intentions of returning after my 1st visit. I didn't like the manner in which Dr. Jimenez spoke to his staff, the rush of the procedure and the over crowded waiting room. During my 1+ hour visit I saw at least 5-10 other patients come and go. New patients beware. A dentist that moves so quickly between patients doesn't mean that he is skilled at what he is doing. Just means that he's done it so many times it's pure repetition and the quality of work is at stake.

I really like Dr. Jimenez. He is friendly and nice to my children. However, their billing department is terrible. They told me things were covered under my insurance that weren't and forgot to submit an x-ray bill to my insurance company. Instead of researching and resubmitting the claim they were insistent that I owed them for the x-ray...that and they kept calling me "mommy" on the phone. I will be finding a new pediatric dentist, because it is not worth the aggravation.
