Prescribed Dad medications for heartburn for several years without performing an EGD or colonoscopy. It turned out that the reason Dad had heartburn was because he had colon cancer. It was diagnosed in the ED after he started having pain. It was stage IV, and he lived 10 weeks after that. It takes 10 years for colon cancer to develop from a polyp and had Dad had a colonoscopy during that time, he may have lived. Dad's care was not managed properly and this oversight caused Dad his life.

The doctor and staff here are friendly enough. He rarely has dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and usually takes most concerns of mine seriously. There is no routine follow up after an appointment and I'm ok with that. The waiting time can occasionally be extreme and one misdiagnoses has been experienced.

I was a patient of Dr. Hoffman for over 4 years. He has an excellent bedside manner and always seemed to have time to answer my questions and address my needs. I would definately recommend Dr. Hoffman.
