My daughter went in to have baby tooth pulled. She was12 it was older than yhey normally take and we now know why. They like patients that can't talk back our tell on them. I was not allowed to go back our even see the procedure room which set of all sorts of red flags. My daughter explained how she was put in a chair next to a little girl and she asked if the doctor had hit her. That flipped my daughter out. She then asked tools the girl no, why had she been hit and she punted to the red mark on her face. During my daughter's procedure she was held down and threatened that off she did not comply they would have to do it in the hospital.which
scared her since 3 years earlier she had been in the hospital with 2 teeth that had been knocked out and reimplanted. He used that experience top scare her. After I complained, we were blacklisted by kearney and other Palm Bay Dentists which is the best thing that could have happened. We went to Orlando. PS I heard Dr. Pollock to his staff it doesn't matter if she complains with her insurance.I'm the only pediatric dentist she can go to. And he was right so if you work for the city of palm bay. Go to Orlando where you can have choices and complain to your provider. Dr. Pollack should not be allowed to abuse our children.
I couldn't really tell you about the dentist's appearance. My children have been in the office several times and I am never allowed to go in the room with them or even see the dentist. I always have to settle for talking to the assistan in a little closet space in the hallt. One of my daughters had a root canal and crown, and they didn't even give her pain medicine. When I got her she was crying and in obvious pain, but when asked, I was they do not give prescriptions. It was a long night. Another time, I was told one of my daughters had a cavity. They made me schedule an appointment to have a filling put in. I went into labor with my youngest a couple of days before her appointment and had to wait until after her next check up. When I got to the next check up...they never mentioned the cavity. I asked them when they were going to fix it and explained that we were unable to get the filling they had suggested. I was told there were no notes about cavities in the dentist report. I really question whether this dentist even does what he is supposed to do. Did he even look at my child's teeth?
