I have been a long time patient of Dr. Curt for over 25 years. I had to drop my whole family from his plane due to several misunderstandings with his billing staff. He is an AWESOME dentist! And his staff (the ones that work on your teeth) are equally as gifted. But my issues were with the billing staff and the fact that they did not return my calls when inquiring about a cancellation bill. They were very unprofessional and lied to me to get me off of the telephone. They promised to call me back and never did. I called Dr. Curt's cell, and he too failed to call back. For 25 years I was a patient and one time, I called to cancel an appointment six hours in advance due to a new job and work restrictions and they issued a cancellation bill. Where is the loyalty? Now, some other dentist will have the opportunity to receive $4K worth of work done and they will get my whole family as a package deal. I guess Dr. Curt is getting so big now, that he doesn't have time for his loyal friends that stuck with him during his relocation. I traveled 70 miles round trip for my visits. I guess it is his loss.

They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. It was really nice of them to make sure that the water they used to rinse my mouth was at a comfortable temperature. In fact, it was the perfect temperature. I really appreciated them making that extra effort to make me comfortable.

I took my 5-year-old son with severe special needs to Dr. Standish's office today for his first dentist appt. It was to be a joint appointment with his 3-year-old brother. I warned them beforehand that he has social anxiety disorder. When we arrived, the hygenist offered to bring the boys back on a tour. She assured me that she'd be back out to get me before the appointment began. I wanted to be with my boys. She never returned.

I asked about this at the front desk and was assured she'd be back. I continued waiting. I asked again and was told she'd started the appointment already. I was told I could stand in the hall. I went back there and my son was very uncomfortable, nervous and unsure. The 3-year-old ran into the hall, after rummaging through the drawers in the treatment room. Fortunately I was there to get him. He could easily have gotten into something harmful and wasn't being supervised at all.

I told the hygenist I was upset she had not come to get me like she promised and she blew me off. She said he "didn't look like he had problems." I wasn't aware that special needs children look different from regular people. She expected my 3-year-old to go with an unknown hygenist to a different room-- by himself-- for his very first appointment. No parents. He was anxious and unsure and didn't want to go. I told her flat out that I would be with BOTH of the boys. That's why we set up a "joint appointment."

I never got an apology for their rudeness. We will not be returning.

I also went to this provider for my general dentistry and was told I needed orthodontic work. The dentist would give me a "Deal" at $5000, not including the cost of molds and x-rays. I got the same treatment out in town-- including everything-- for $3200. This place is a rip-off.

We're in the market for a good, pediatric dentist.
