This man treated my father for an ear infection for months with the same antibiotic. My father told him at every visit he was still having pain. This man...I won't even say doctor...never sent my father for an x-ray to see if something else was causing the pain. After months of no relief for my father, I took him and his records to a specialist at Loyola University near my home in northern Illinois suburbs. An MRI revealed an aggressive tumor located behind the ear was causing the pain, not an ear infection. Papazian told my father at one visit he lanced a cyst in his ear. We were told that there was no evidence of a cyst...that he probably lanced the tumor. That was in November and my father died in January. If he had been properly diagnosed in June he would possible be alive today. My father was a vibrant, healthy 89 year old gentleman who did not deserve the treatment he received. He trusted a supposed specialist. I would never recommend this man. One star is questionable.

FIRST VISIT
Today was my first visit for tinnitus (ringing) in 1 ear, brought on by treatment with medication. The prescribing practioner requested I see a specialist ENT and gave me his information to make an appointment. When I called to make an appointment the line was busy on 2 attempts. When I made contact I was told that the earliest possible date was 6 weeks. I let them know my current practicioner requested I see them before our next appointment. I was told I couldn't make an appointment, that the recommending practioner would have to contact them to request the appointment. The appointment was made with no special considerations.
I recieved my new patient information in the mail with instructions to fill out the forms and bring them to my appointment. (I thought this was an efficient concept).
7 weeks later, I arrived for my appointment 15 min. early and signed the register outside the "reception?" window. The sliding window had been obscured with an opaque film. Instructions were posted to turn off cell phones, to please refrain from tapping on the window and sign in we will be with you shortly (or similar polite wording). I began to sign in and had to turn my phone on for the correct time. No clock, bad sign. The waiting room was quite small with seating for 12 and space for little else. I was treated to Fox news covering the events in Ferguson, MO and the loss of Mike Brown, an unarmed young man shot multiple times by a police officer in a residential area. After aprox. 30 min. the window opened and I presented my information. Aprox. 15 min. later I my ins. info was returned and I paid my fee. I was finally called back 1 hour after my scheduled appointment.
I was taken to exam and asked a few questions and left to wait for the Dr. for aprox. 15 min. The person collecting my information actually read my patient history information I brought with me.
The Dr. came in, politely greeted me and suggested he had seen me before. I said no, I hadn't.
He asked me a few questions & looked in my ears, nose and throat. When he looked at my throat with a tounge depressor, incorrectly saying I had no tonsils, then being surprised to see them, I began to wonder since we had covered that information.
He asked me to tilt my head back and swallow, told me I would need an inner ear test and directed me back to the receptionist's inner office where I mistakenly thought I was waiting to be tested.
I was given another appointment for 3 days later to coinside with the date of a current appoint with my referring practioner. When I asked for that date I was told it was wide open.
Being sceptical of my initial visit, I decided to read a few reviews. I found both good and bad.
So far, I can't say mine is bad. I will follow up with another review.

Waste of time and money! I went in because of dizzy spells followed by a large sinus drain. Papazian said i had polyps that needed to be removed. on the day of surgery all he was worried about was a deviated septum that he told me himself was probably like that all my life. not once did he attempt to drain my sinuses or even look into the matter before surgery. the meds i was supposed to get weren't even called in to my pharmacy until the hospital called and reminded the office. wth. after the surgery he didn't even have the decency to speak to me. my wife had to tell me he had been there almost as soon as i hit the room(while still under the effects of anesthesia). The staff in unhelpful and act as if you're bothering them when you call with a question. DO NOT USE THIS MAN. I think he is a hack and is only concerned about his wallet.
