Called today to make my kids 1st appt. I called this place because of good reviews on Dr.s however.....the staff leaves something to be desired so far. I've been in customer service for 22 years and my experience just over the phone was awful.
They were clearly not listening when the first thing out of my mouth was "I need to make my kids 1ST APPOINTMENT with your facility" then proceeded to get my kids name and then asked. Is your child already a patient here? WHAT??? They were clearly in a rush to end the call not being informative at all on the process or steps needed to be taken in order to send over my kids medical records. I had to dig for this info with questions. Hung up on me when the call was CLEARLY not over, while I was 1/4 in the process of asking the office a question. Then I had to call back and ask for info on where to send the records.
I will continue contact them and proceed to schedule my kids 1st appt. because of the Dr. s good ratings and the close location to my home. If behavior continues. The office Admin will hear about their employees awful customer service. I'm just hoping this staff person was having an off day, we will see and I guess time will tell?
Stanley took care of two sons for 16 years, from 1982 to 1998. One son was a particularly difficult kiddo. Dr. Tenenbaum-boom, in his neat saddle shoes, made every visit a relief. I wasn't crazy.
I was a patient of this practice since I was 4 years old. I am now 29. My sister was a patient and now is 21. I since have had two babies(1 & 2 years old) who have been coming to them since birth. I have had several reasons to leave since being seen here for misdiagnosis and things they needed my kids to be tested for (aka him having a big head) and spent thousands of dollars. I have never not paid these people but now that my son needs to be seen for a ear infection that continues to come back they refuse to seem him WITH ACTIVE INSURANCE until I have the ID number for them. Then I ask for his records and they want $25 per child to transfer the records to another doctor, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT IN IT TO TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN. I suppose they charge a $25 fee because they lose lots of patients. The only person there worth seeing is Dr. Tanebaum or Greg. Unfortunately due to their terrible staff and how rude they are they just lost a patient and any referrals from me. I too work in a doctors office and know how things can and are done.
