I was extremely depressed when I went to him for help, and he successfully treated my depression. He was very careful in following up on all treatment strategies implemented to make sure they were working. I have read reviews that complained about having to wait a long time to get an appointment and also some that said he didn't treat his clients equally. I think some people don't understand that psychiatrists use a triage system just like other doctors. I saw him often at first and it wasn't hard to get weekly appointments because that's how my appointments were scheduled. But now I wait six weeks to three months to get an appointment, and I am grateful that I am not one of his patients that gets weekly or by-weekly appointments because I know that those patients are truly desperate, and I am glad that I am no longer one of them.

Be careful at this place, the staff doesn't know anything about anything I have never talked to so many oblivious people in my life. Be carful with billing Call your insurer and verify with them the amount they are asking you for. Again the staff is not familiar with how insurance works. The tried to charge me my office visit co payment plus co- insurance then she went on to till me I need to meet my deductible as well. ???? I called my insurer and they said I was correct office visit you only pay co-payment and when I kept questioning about that billing practice they had their attorney threaten to sue me. really threaten to sue a disabled person over a billing questions. wow again stay away. They didn't scare me. they can sue I don't know for what but can't garnish social security checks.

I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. I would not see anyone else. He is the best and his staff is SO helpful. I had heard great things about Dr. Lichtman before I scheduled an appointment. They are all true. He is very down to earth and tells it like it is. I like that. I would have to say I would not be where I am today with out his help. He has been very helpful to me and my marriage. GREAT GREAT experience. The only problem is he is always booked so that has to be a good sign.
