INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST-SHOULD BE IN JAIL

I had the recent misfortune of having Dr Todd Sharp of 'Today's Dental' attempt a very expensive and time-consuming series of implants.
What a nightmare-The very uncomfortable procedures were completely botched by Dr Todd Sharp THREE times at 3-5 hours, SIX seperate trips instead of three, spent inverted in a dental chair, painfully subjected to Dr Sharp's inexperience and confusion.
These three inexcusable dry runs are actually 'practice sessions' for he and his novice dental assistants, who are trained 'on the job' on your dime. If you expect crisp professionalism here, think more like 1.75GPA at a local Vo-Tech.

Adding insult to injury, Dr Todd Sharp cheated me out of a significant portion of my insurance reimbursement by misdirecting the check from my insurance company directly to him and stealing over 30% on a paid-in-full account. This is an uncaring and greedy office which demands full payment before the Doctor will stumble in and begin making your life a living hell.

The surly inept staff, who possess the blind obedience and compassion of a Concierge at a Death Camp, are the perfect ugly compliment to the bad Doctor himself, who left me speechless when he was willing to trade his honesty, integrity and professional ethics for a little pocket change.

Dr Todd Sharp is an insult to the profession, liar and thief.

My worst dental experience in 60 years. Went to Dr. Sharp to have front crown re-cemented. He re-cemented the crown tilted so far back I couldn't eat without cutting the bottom gum. Several days of pain later I recontacted Sharp's office - he agreed to repair the tooth. This required 'cutting' out the tooth and 7 or 8 injections into the roof of my mouth – excruciating and the 'new' temporary tooth was much shorter. Six weeks later the crown was ready. Permanently cemented in only shorter.

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

This dentist is great. However you must pay up front. Living in Florida that is a must unfortunately. My problem is that when you get overcharged, they do not want to pay you back immediately. You have to wait until the insurance pays him and then you sit and wait at least 2 months for the payment. Their accountant only works every other Friday. So wait you must. Its a shame you pay upfront at time of office visit and and when overcharged, you wait months for your money back. In my case it was not just $25. It was a few hundred. But because he is a good dentist bring a list of your dental codes so they charge you the correct amount. They told me they don't have time to check in their system to see what insurance companies pay what. Really? Isn't that what computers are for? Other than that he is a good dentist..I am giving this dentist low rating because of the financial part.

Avoid this provider. Not sure how the other review can be so great. Beware of being charged up front then fighting for your deductible back when you find out on your own that you were overcharged. Beware of Dentists who charge upfront!
I had a crown done at Today's Dental that caused year long pain. I returned over and over to have the crown adjusted with no success. In the end the crown cost me twice as much because I had to go to other Dentists to have the issue resolve.

Please don't waste your time going to this office. I am sure the dentist may be great, however I cannot share that info. I made an appointment to be seen, they verified my insurance info, gave me a time to be seen,etc. I show up, the rude receptionist couldn't find my name in the system. They were finally able to find my paperwork in some folder in a drawer, but none of the info had been entered and she rudely asked if I could come back another time. Instead of taking the blame for their incompetent employees who do not know how to schedule a person and put all of their info in the system, I had to suffer the consequence from their ignorance. I work in the customer service field and that is not how you treat a patient, especially not after your office royally messed up, not me.
