Dr. Babino is great. Her staffing is horrible. I waited 4 hours and they were getting ready to leave for lunch as I still sat there. I had to ask what about me. Although I signed in they "forgot to pull my chart". I have been a patient of hers for 15 years and this was the worst treatment ever. Very disappointed. This OBGYN is fine the practice sucks. The equipment seems pretty standard however it wouldn't hurt to upgrade it. I'm sure there's been advancements in technology from when this equipment was put in. The appointment with this OBGYN was below any standard I ever experienced before. The OBGYN and their staff rarely respected about my privacy. They barged in anytime they liked. This OBGYN tries to answer my questions but the answers are not usually very clear.

I was a patient of Dr. Babino for a few years and initially I loved her. My only issue previously was her horrible office staff, and I'd planned to find another GYN for my next annual. But I started having severe pains and had to get in to see someone and went to Dr. Babino.

The first thing that turned me off was the questioning from her front desk clerk regarding the balance of my HSA. When I avoided the question, she asked again and even followed up with asking if it was over a thousand. If I hadn't required medical attention that day I would have walked out. This was highly inappropriate and made me immediately suspicious.

I got to the back and the PA wanted to do some "new test" on me. After a few questions to her about the test I realized this wasn't anything I needed so I told her I wasn't interested in it. She couldn't get it hooked up and she said she'd let Dr. Babino talk to me about it.

When I finally did get to Dr. Babino she seemed very dismissive to me regarding the issues. She kept trying to downplay it and say that they were possible digestive related. I reminded her that I know the difference between those pains and something more serious. She tried to push me again to have this bogus test and retest for the ALCAT (which think she must get a kickback for). When the PA came I told her I was not doing either test and the only thing I would agree to was taking blood. After she did that she gave me some kit for a urine test to do at home and mail off. I researched that test later and once again it was a test that was totally unrelated to the problems i was experiencing. I also had to schedule an ultrasound, which they couldn't do for 9 more days. The test was reasonable considering my paint but the length of time to wait to have it done was not.

When I called back 3 days later to find out about the lab results. I left a message for someone to return my call - which never happened. I called back the next day and got the front desk clerk who told me it would take about 10 days for the blood work results and the pap.. I've never experienced blood results taking 10 days and I told the girl this. She made it seem as if I had unreasonable expectations.

I hung up and called my general practitioner who was able to see me. An ultrasound was scheduled for the next day and lab results were back in 2 days. I still need to follow up with a GYN but it will not be with Dr. Babino. Her dismissive attitude and trying to push these bogus tests on me, along with the clerk repeatedly asking about my account balance, was too much for me to overlook.
