Today was my last appointment with Atlanta Women's Specialist. While I've had a good experience with two of the doctors (Dr. Smith and Dr. Angus), it doesn't matter if I always have issues booking appointments and actually seeing the doctor. Today was the second time that I booked an ultrasound appointment and, when I arrived, the office only had me down for a regular prenatal checkup. It's pretty disappointing when you expect to find out your baby's gender and, instead, end up firing your doctor. My previous appointment was cancelled because, a few days before my appointment, the front office called to tell me Dr. Angus was on call that day. My first appointment (where all they needed to do was confirm I was pregnant) took 2.5 hours. Maybe these transgression are okay for others, but I feel my time is just as valuable as the doctor's and I can't continue to use a doctor or a doctor's office that clearly has no respect for other people's time.
