I have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease for 10 years and diabetic gastro paresis for 2 years. I moved to Cape for my new job from Cleveland, Ohio and thought I will have a hard time finding a good GI doctor. A coworker of mine suggested Dr. Pais. Now Dr. Pais has been my GI for approximately eight months. He has done a colonoscopy and also an ERCP for me. I had couple of gastroscopies done, and a Botox procedure to alleviate the symptoms of gastro paresis. Dr. Pais's technical abilities far exceed the best of what was offered to me at the University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is attentive (not a classic look down and type on computer doctor) made me feel that I was the most important person in the room. I feel that he is by far more a partner in my health care than just another provider. I strongly recommend him. He is a Gem in Cape

It is obvious that their office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. They offer the best pricing I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how little I ended up having to pay. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately.

Overall this is the best GI doctor in Cape Girardeau, MO area I have ever seen. There are many GI doctors in town and I have seen a few but none had a clear diagnosis for me. I went to him for a second opinion. He has very good knowledge and he even encouraged me to raise my opinion and concerns. He reviewed my outside medical records. I get a firm yes and a firm no with him. He discussed my test results in detail in a way I understood. He took time to explain. His skill level is phenomenal and colonoscopy with him was like piece of cake. I would rather say it was an enjoyable experience compared to the one I had few years ago. Even my mom and dad went to see him for colon cancer screening and they think he is a rare Gem in the area. Bed side manors are great. He loves his job. He is a great GI doctor and hope to see him for years to come. My entire family will see him.
