I have a fear of dentists stemming from childhood.. When I went here everyone was very accommodating and quick to ease my fears. They were attentive to my pain tolerance. I would recommend them highly.

I am in good hands here. My fears are calmed and the work done, and I need a lot, meets my expectations plus. While not in my preferred network, I see difference in what is billed for the type II and III svces but it is insignificant compare to finally finding a dentist that I can feel comfortable with.
My dental hygienist is wonderful.

I have been going here for about 4 years, place is awesome. All the people that work there are very nice. They get me in right away when I have a problem and explain everything from whats wrong to how much it costs, and all your options. Great business

My parents rarely took me to the dentist growing up. I only went when there was a problem. Because of this, I have put off going for many years.
Last week I woke up with a horrible toothache and realized I could not put it off another day. I called several offices and they said that they could not take me for several weeks or even months! I was told to go to the ER. Frustrated, I kept calling around.
Finally I called Putnam Family Dental. The girl on the phone was so thoughtful and compassionate. She told me to come right down. Within 1 hour of calling I was in the chair! The doctor was thorough and informative. He took pictures to show and explain why I was having this pain. He also explained the treatment I needed and answered all my questions. From start to finish it has been a very positive experience. While I wish I did not need to go to the dentist, I am grateful for having found such a great group of people to help convert this coward.

One of the most unprofessional offices I have ever been in. The dentist recommended a root canal, crown, etc. the most expensive procedures without explaining or showing by xrays the extent of the problems. Was told that my chipped front tooth could not be fixed that day because it required a root canal or even more extensive dental work. They could not give a price on the procedure and I was told the office manager was out and would call the following day. Four business days later still no call, thank goodness. This prompted me to go to another reputable dentist. He fixed the front tooth which did not require an expensive root canal. I did not have gum disease or an infection as I was told. Oh and the xrays and cleaning that they charged $210.00 for; my teeth were not cleaned correctly and the xrays were poorly done and not complete. Do yourself a favor stay as far away from here as possible!

Well lets start with this,i visited them last week, i am sooooo dental phobic , the guy there is amazing!! he was able to ease me up really well!! the procedure although was supposedly a complicated one, it was really easy, no pain, quit fast and the best part is, they are professional while being really friendly!! its the combo that i would want from my dentist that i wasnt able to find it elsewhere.
oh something else, they worked around my budget and explained every small detail about my teeth and the treatment plan that i need !! and for the first time in my life in a dentist office…i left REALLY INFORMED on both sides, financial and dentistry !! simply, he is the best!!

Love this dental office!! from the front to the back chair they are cool, funny, and friendly. I actually look forward to seeing them, and it is the same staff that has been there for years and years. Very personable!Great Work, and super flexible with appointments, payments etc.

This guy is the worst do yourself a favor and go to a respectful dentist that isn't money hungry run for your pocket book ! All this guy wants is to do is crowns or extractions never a filling everything is huge money . So glad I found a great dentist in pomfret that was honest filled my cavities and only need 2 crowns (compared to 5) love it and saved me thousands ! Do not go to him period ...
