The Groton Dental Group has changed significantly over the past few years as it is now owned by "corporate". With appointment snafus, lingering billing issues for routine cleanings, hygienists and staff quitting, and all longstanding dentists now retired... many of us longtime patients had no choice but to seek dental care elsewhere.

Be very wary of mandatory X-rays (and other services) from the newly hired hygienists and dentists. At this chaotic office, dental X-rays are now required annually, in spite of your individualized, well documented, dental health!

Just a reminder that the American Dental Association/U.S. Food and Drug Administration (ADA/FDA) guidelines 3 recommend that adults with no oral health problems typically will only need X-rays every two to three years.

I have been waiting over a year for them to finish what they started on my implants. I have had to chew with the posts from them due to needing more work on the opposite side. When talking to them on the phone and asked when they could finish what they started the secretary/staff started yelling at me then hung up. I think its time to call BBB or the insurance company to have another business/dentist finish the job. Since this place went cooperate, they could care less about you as a patient and only care for how much insurance you have and will do everything, they can to use the max every year. Unfortunate, use to be a good place to go. so G.F.Y Groton dental group. funny, you never see a bad review on their website. go figure. Time for a lawsuit

I WAS AT MY APPOINTMENT HALF AN HOUR EARLY ONLY TO WAIT 20 MIN. PAST MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME WHICH WHICH TOTALED TO A 50 MIN. WAIT. BUT I LEFT DISGRUNTLED NOT CARING TO SEE THE HYGIENIST. NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER CAME TO ME IN THE ROOM TO LET ME KNOW THAT THE HYGIENIST WAS RUNNING LATE. AND WHEN I TOLD THE FRONT DESK THAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER, THE STAFF SITTING THERE WAS LIKE, "I DON'T WORK UP HERE ON THE FRONT DESK BUT I'LL GO GET SOMEONE." I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SHE WAS HANGING AROUND AT THE FRONT DESK TO BEGIN WITH IF SHE DOES'T WORK THERE. STUPID. I TOLD HER THAT I'M LEAVING CAUSE I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR TOO LONG. I'M NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!
