Dr. V is the best in her field.
We should all thank her for her service in serving our troops in war! She saved countless lives! I was not happy i needed shoulder, having been told I have Reiters syndrome and what it does to your body is painful. She went above and beyond for my shoulders. Yes both needed to be done and I wasn't the happiest person with needing so much done.
Anyway if you want someone who knows what they're doing you found her. She has a nice bedside manner and she isn't the type to be all gentle and fuss unless it's bad. Remember she has seen n done 1000's of whatever your seeking. Please thank her for her service and her staffs wonderful over the top care. If she helped you leave a kind word or two!!!!!

She gave me both arms back to me. Sadly 20 years later I am seeking help for same problem. Wish I was back home in Florida for her. Best in patient care.

DR. VAN WINKLE DID SURGERY ON MY LEFT THUMB IN 1960. GREAT SUCCESS. SHE RECOMMENDED A SILVER RING SPLINT WHICH PROTECTS MY THUMB. I HAVE SINCE MOVED FROM FLA. AND HAD SURGERY ON MY OTHER THUMB NO SUCESS. I CERTAINLY MISS THIS EXCELLENT PHYCIAN AND HER EXPERTISE.

I have been going to Dr Vanwinkle for 2 yrs now and have had 2 surgeries with her and she has always been the kindest doctor with a great bed side manner and she definatly knows her stuff...!!!! I would recommend anyone that needs an ortho surgeon... I giver her 5 stars plus

My daughter and I have both been treated by Dr. Van Winkle. Jessica had a fracture that was not seen on Xray, and Dr. V swore it was there, treated her as if it were there, and several months later with her follow up exam, the xray did reveal that she did indeed have that fracture, and thank god Dr. V treated her for it with out needing proof. The amount of swelling Jess had to "protect" herself is why it wasnt visiable, but her years of training, said it was there.

She is an excellent Dr. she knows whats up, when I told her the symptoms Im having, she called it dead on, and the MRI confirmed it. She gives you several treatment options, and is really good with injections. Im a BIG BIG WUSS when it comes to needles, I like faint...lol.
