I have been a patient of Dr. Torres for almost 3-4 years, and I couldnt be happier. She is one of the best GYN doctors I have ever had. She is very informative, down to earth and has the best bed side manner. I refer anyone I know that is looking for an OBGYN to her. As far as her staff goes, they are amazing. They have always been nice to me and very pleasant to deal with. I had to have a hysterectomy and she took the proper steps to make she it was the last resort. I was amazed at the hysterectomy process that she takes. I was in one day and out the next. I know not everyone feels the same way, we are all different but in my book their office is #1. I wish all my doctors and staff could be just as nice and on the ball as they are. You wont be disappointed.

Of the 3 or 4 appts I had, all were at least 45 minutes behind. I was left to sit undressed twice for 30 plus minutes. It was insisted that I go to a new pt ob appt for education though this was my 4th kid. I changed my vacation to oblige since they only do them on mondays. There was absolutely no pt education done at that appt. I was told I was being set up for a payment plan for what my portion of the delivery would be. I said I would find a new practice as I don't pay for services I haven't yet received. I filled out a form to have my records sent to another practice to be reviewed to see if I would be accepted. I also paid $51 to have my records burned onto a cd. I later called to cancel this request just hours after leaving. I received a letter saying I had been discharged since my care was transferred. My care has not been transferred yet. They haven't even gotten my records faxed yet. I have no doctor now, and they have no intentions of changing their decision.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a medical doctor. I was pregnant with my first child and thought I wanted a small practice so I would know everyone. This was a mistake.

When I called, it was rare that anyone answered the phone; often you had to wait 24-48 hrs for a call back.

I was sent out for sonogram and even the hospital couldn't reach the office to request that the order be completed correctly....an hour later when they finally reached the office, it was suggested that the hospital admitting staff change the order themselves (very illegal). When the hospital refused, it took 30 more minutes to get a correct sonogram order.

I was billed incorrectly on many visits.

The final straw came when I arrived 10 minutes early for a 4:00pm appointment and I was told the Dr. had left because I was late. They tried to tell me my appointment was at 3:45 even though I had the automated confirmation still saved on my phone and in my email. Even after being caught in the lie, the office manager refused to give me my medical records that day. I had to wait over a 2 weeks for them to be sent to another office. At 32 weeks pregnant this was a big concern.

Upon reading other review sites I see I am not the first person to experience this problem. Apperantly this is a tactic they have used in the past- try to make the pt. feel as though it is their fault the Dr. chose to leave without seeing all her patients. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.
