This dental group managed to talk me into some pricey dental work, which I am not so sure I needed, but when I went in for a cleaning, that's when I pulled the plug on their plans for me. I was told that I was being re-directed to a different room for a necessary procedure because they had reason to suspect peridontal disease. They checked each one of my teeth, front and back then led me to a room to wait. By the way, they gave me the nightmare stories and showed pictures of what peridontal disease can do if not treated immediately and regularly. Finally a salesman shows up in the office with a portfolio describing my peridontal management plan that I needed to begin (to the tune of $1800.00 and to return every 6 months for the rest of my life). They treated my gumline with bleach to stave off any further bacterial breakdown... I bought it, at first, but felt a little funny. I booked the appointment. Meanwhile, I talked to other people and other dentists and was urged to seek a second opinion. I spent the next year looking for a reputable dentist. I found one, oddly enough called Redlands Dental Group as well, but on Citrus Ave, not Orange St. and NOT related at all). They took a full mouth x-ray and said my teeth were in great shape and scheduled an appointment for a regular cleaning the next day.
