Rudest Dr. and staff of any office I have ever visited. My total wait time was over three hours! When I voiced my concern over the long wait, the Dr. became defensive and gathered his equipment and walked out of the examining room leaving me laying there topless on his examining table!

Dr Jason Hechtman explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in great detail, including diagrams, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I've already told my friends and family about the way I was treated by Dr Hechtman and his staff and how confident I felt about decisions that were made concerning me. He is completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that he'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately. I never had to doubt his qualifications. He made his credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. He knew everything about all the latest medical advancements, and they even knew about ones that had occurred very recently. It was obvious that he kept up on his research. I would never even consider going to a different surgeon as long as I live in Florida! I am extremely impressed with how he responds to my questions and his attention to detail! I recommend him to everyone I come in contact with that mentions they may/will need surgery!! He is one of the the most caring Doctors I have ever been in the care of!!

I received a call from the Drs staff saying my post MRI appointment was canceled and I was told to pick up paperwork for a procedure... without any discussion or explanation?! Since I had questions about my MRI results and the procedure, I rescheduled an appointment. I was hoping to discuss pros and cons of different options, but my concerns did not appear welcome as they were treated with a dismissive attitude by this surgeon to the point of being insulting. Even when referencing medical studies my questions (not conclusions mind you) were called "stupid", and the answers given seemed couched in childish defensiveness. Suggest getting a second opinion if you aren't comfortable with one of those God-like Drs - who may very well be knowledgeable, and easy going on the surface, but who's only real comfort zone are wide-eyed admirers who dont ask or question the infallible one. Hope you find this helpful.
