Awful ! They refused to see my daughter until they can review her medical history and referring doctor's notes. I was asked to fill out an Authorization to Release the records so they could send to her PCP. I returned the document the same day I received it and never heard back. I called after not hearing anything for a week, and they literally checked the email box while I was on the phone to say they got it. I was told that they would request the records and call me back to make an appt. Another week goes by, and the office sends me an email saying that they cannot accept the Authorization form because my daughter is 18 and she needs to sign it. Its been TWO WEEKS, and still no appointment. Horrible ! And I will definitely be searching for another Neurologist for her. I just hate that I have wasted two weeks of my time , and still no care for her.
I have been taking my grandson to numerous doctors and specialists, including a psychiatrist for over two years trying to determine what was wrong with him. Dr. Jacinto's office knew immediately that he has Tourette's Syndrome. He is now so much better on the right medication. I am forever grateful to them.
He is a great neurologist and cares deeply for the children he sees. He immediately started helping me with my son and gave me all the tools and resources I needed to get the help for him that he needed.
I want to share a bad experience that just happened a few minutes ago with my wife and my loved daughter, we have an appoinment today with "Dr." JACINTO SERGIO in his office in 4507 Armenia Ave, Tampa FL 33603, this "Dr." start yelling and screaming to my wife in front of my daughter, you people who read this AWARE of this "Dr.", I hope he stop using this malpractice with woman and especially with kids with special needs. DR. JACINTO SERGIO stop the violence with your patients or get out of the bussinnes, people like you don't have to be in contact with childs, I'm not the only people who make a complaint read another comments in Google.
After working 15+ years with physician practices, I have never encountered such a difficult group to work with. I understand, and agree, with having insurance information available at the time of scheduling , but social security information should never be demanded over the phone. Also, we were provided with a referral by my child's pediatrician, although it is NOT required by our insurance, but Dr. Sergio Jacinto's staff refused to schedule an appointment unless such was faxed directly to their office. These are signs of lack of, or poor, management, and I am glad to say that I will continue to expect nothing but the best when it comes to my child's care.....and Dr. Jacinto's office is not the place.
