I had a sinus problem that made me miserable and kept me from sleeping well. Allergies were ruled out through both scratch and blood tests. Dr. Whitley ordered a cat scan and found I had infected sinuses, though they were not making me sick as they had during prior flare ups. He recommended balloon sinuplasty and I underwent the procedure. My sinuses opened up and are still open six weeks later. I feel so much better. I was nervous about this procedure, but am so happy I had it done. Dr. Whitley and his assistant talked me through it step by step from start to finish. They were both so very reassuring during the procedure. I am nervous even during dental work so I had requested a mild sedative to help me relax. I recommend that to those of you, like me, who may have overactive nerves. The procedure itself was not painfulI, and very little down time. I felt well taken care of and can highly recommend this team.
