Dr.Awan failed to listen to my mother Joan Cromwell symptoms. She tried to tell him a couple of times she was dizzy. She fell while she was out of town.
Number 1, she was over medicated.
Number 2, she thought she had a mild stroke.
He totally ignored what she had to say!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't recommend a dog to see him!!!!!!!

If your staff is only as good as YOU are, then he SUCKS. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism & courtesy. Total disregard for the patient's time, health, everything. Worst experience EVER

This email was sent to many medical review sites, and in no way reflects the reception staff--they are the one thig I can say has been nice to me, professional and consistent.
Dr. Rassool is wonderul as always however, I was disgusted how I was treated today by some of his staff. Shall I call them staff? Or are they medical students who have no idea what they are doing! I was and still am mortified of the treatment I received today. First, they called me in from the waiting room. I go in and they always check your weight first. I was informed by the "nurse" (ie.-medical student) to step on the scale. (there were 3 akward medical students with their backs against the wall, just staring at me) I do. and when one of the other medical students come over to leer at my weight, she says "woah!". Ok...... I think, and I go into the private room with the other "medical student", which is how she introduced me to her. No smile, she basically seemed pissed off. So I'm sitting there, And she says she'll take my blood pressure. She forgets her blood pressure cuff outside, so she says she'll be right back. She comes in, takes my blood pressure on my left arm, and says it's high. Then she says "boy everyone in here lately has high blood pressure! Do you have a history of high blood pressure?" I say, no not ever. Then she says " ok we'll check on the other arm but i know what it says is right." Lo and behold!!!!! Blood pressure is completely normal on my right arm. After more very uncomfortable moments, she finally asks me why I came in to see the doctor. Really???? ( I ony came in to get a prescription) after all those hoops you made me jump? I have very very very good insurance and I was treated like a person who has to go to the state health clinic!!!!! Can I add that if you are a medical student, you should be accomapined my liscensed medical personnel to assist you with the patient. Dr. Rassool, I hope you read this. You are a wonderful doctor, but I will never EVER come to you or your partner again. This was truly disgusting behavior. You hire these people and this is not ok. Shame on you for passing the buck, this is your name on the line. Hire people who compliment you!
