They definitely care about patient comfort because they treat me like I matter. I could have easily taken a quick nap while waiting for my appointment, my music playing is soothing but not elevator music. I was amazed by how friendly their staff was. They go above and beyond every time I visit. I've already started recommending them to people I know. They did such a great job. During my consultation, they were very helpful and attentive the entire time. I felt very cared for!!

I would recommend him to people I know. He has reasonable prices and appointment times. He is a good doctor and there is a great staff. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in his care. I am very happy that I found him when I moved to Orlando. He was actually recommended to me.

*caps So theres this sign, "Former patients refused medication retaliate by giving us poor reviews..." So I'm thinking, these arent scorned business partners/employees... PATIENTS*, ((who can often be victims of 1) incompetent education directors (who refuse to fit mental health into their syllabi, which has a snowball effect on our culture, including *THEIR OWN INCOMEPTENCE, and ineffective incarceration), and 2) the pharmaceutical GREED* that HE* feeds))... TEND* to get addicted to whatever relieves them of the AGONY* they cant get away from, and need HELP*. But he doesn't at all acknowledge any improvements that may be necessary at his practice... Then as you walk to your room, in case you missed it, theres MORE* signs, to convince his new MENTALLY ILL* (you know, the MOST* vulnerable and EASILY* manipulated...) PATIENTS*, (or their often equally desperate parents) that hes not accountable for any bad reviews. Even if the reviewers ARE* retaliating, *THATS WHAT SICK PEOPLE DO. If a cancer patient gets addicted to morphine, is their chemo clinic going to put the same sign up!? I dont need instructions from an interested party to take what I read online with a grain of salt, (((especially "its like an assembly line," or "all they want is their money!" ok 1st of all, like you said, its THEIR* money. 2) No one expects any restaurant to let even the poor eat free. True, they dont lump everyone together and demand payment before eating except in highly suspicious situations, but are Dr's obligated to be equally courteous? They have more bills (including probably the highest liability insurance on the planet) than just about anyone (another education system failure: they insist "our" students learn, how to apply for welfare, instead of, how to ethically overcome crippling overhead and regulations; if more people understood how that works thered be less people complaining about prices))), so YES, review sites should filter most references to money, but regardless, we're off to a bad start.
That being said, reviews trashing the STAFF* are... highly suspect; in my almost 20 yr experience, NO* department, in ANY* field or trade, needs more improvement in customer service, than mental health receptionist (yes even tmobile comes in 2nd; find my youtube vid). With rare exception, Ive dealt with thee ABSOLUTELY* most impatient, poorly educated/trained, least empathetic, even italics CONDESCENDING* group of Dr wannabees... its like no one ever realized their employees are interacting with some of the most HIGHLY sensitive, sometimes S U / H O M ICIDAL* people theyre EVER* going to meet, anywhere! This industry should be designed and run (or trained) by the same people as HOSPICE*- because that's what it IS* sometimes! (and because no one ever KNOWS FOR SURE when theyre dealing with someone who is going to be DEAD* in a few weeks (or go on a killing spree)... wouldn't it be smart to treat EVERYONE* as if they might be that someone??) whew, alright THAT* being said, I dealt with several people and this entire staff was friendly, patient (even compromising), cool, professional... I finally felt, for the first time ever, that I was dealing with personnel who were genuinely or even first-hand sympathetic to my needs; (a little brainwashed, as I'll get to, but not much more than any other non-union workers who fear for their jobs and need to hold their bosses in higher esteem than they deserve).
The "doctor?" *DONT BE IMPRESSED BY A RESUME; the "Ivy League" has produced just as many derelicts as any other education system. Unless you are *ALREADY DIAGNOSED with the "top 5," *DO NOT WASTE YOUR OR HIS TIME; like most MDs hes probably STILL* paying his student loans, and does NOT have time for any new research. Yes ladies, this means the emperor is NOT* a god; there IS NO monolith: *HE DID NOT GET MY DIAGNOSIS CORRECT. Why? Because he asked, "Do you cry?" So I answered, "Yeah[. Of course, maybe once every year or two, when someone I loves dies; so you can rule out sociopath...]. So after asking me about... FOUR more questions, he prescribes F I V E medications, *ENOUGH TO KILL A FRIGGIN ELEPHANT, INCLUDING TWO that he said were for side effects from a previous medication, and tells me to come back in 2 weeks. Well, it turns out he writes, "has crying episodes," in his notes. So not knowing what else he bungled, first thing I told him was the meds did absolutely nothing, and that we need to review his questions because hes got some information wrong. He says, "No, that's not necessary, theres nothing I can do for you, go to Shands. And what I gave you for your side effects werent for your side effects and I'm not giving you anything else for that, ." *DR JOSEPH, IF YOU ARE THAT INCOMPETENT THAT YOU 1) CANNOT PRESCRIBE MEDS FOR SIDE EFFECTS FROM MEDS THAT YOU DISPENSE REGULARLY, AND 2) REFUSE TO CHANGE INCORRECT INFORMATION IN MY PERMANENT MEDICAL RECORD... THIS REVIEW WILL NEVER BE EDITED & ITS TIME TO CLOSE SHOP

Dr. Joseph decided because I could not afford the medications that he wanted to prescribe for me, that he would not be able to treat me and dismissed me without any refills and told me to go to Park Place where the poor people go. (BTW since the government has cut funding Park Place can not even provide services on a sliding scale any more.)
