I felt like they were just trying to make money off me because they kept pressuring me to get dental procedures that I know weren't necessary. They should've respected my decision. Not only was I not able to watch TV during my dental procedure, I couldn't even read a magazine or look out the window. I was extremely bored the entire time. When I heard from a few other dentists to avoid Dr. Suh at Plaza Dental I knew that I should steer clear. They didn't have a good reputation at all with all the other dentists I've talked to. I don't think that my provider will find a solution to my situation. I better find someone else. The staff made me feel like I was bothering them. Even called me an idiot in their language. They are extremely rude and unfriendly. Also, Dr. Suh was psycho enough to yell at his patient 5 minutes after walking into the office.

I called to make an appointment for my BF because he needs to get a tooth pulled. I called this morning and didn't give much details, just said that I needed a 6pm appointment for a tooth extraction as soon as possible. She told me that they had an appointment available today at 6pm. I said "Awesome, that's great because he is in a lot of pain". She immediately put me on hold and came back a few mins later letting me know that since he is in pain they will have to charge him an extra $50 since it is an "emergency". I told her that's not how it works. They have an open appointment and already offered it me. They can't suddenly charge extra just because he is in pain. She put me back on hold for 10 mins, and then came back on the phone and let me know that she had made a mistake, that in fact there were no appointments available today and the soonest they could get him in is in a week! My BF is "assigned" to this dentist through his dental insurance. So he called them back and told them he would pay the extra $50, and SUDDENLY they had today's 6pm appointment available again. Needless to say, once this procedure is done, he will getting assigned to a new dentist. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. The dentist is rude & i think he does shady stuff. I will never go there again.

I just walked out of here with my two kids and will not be coming back. The front desk girl is very friendly. I will give them that. They do call with appointment reminders as well which is nice. They are not kid friendly. Two weeks ago when my child had a tooth pulled they did not try to kick me out but today when my 6 y/o daughter was going to have her first filling and wanted me to stay with her, he all of a sudden said it was policy that no parents are allowed. This is a HUGE red flag to me and I would never take my children to a place where this is policy. We moved here recently and no other place I have ever gone to has made me leave my scared child. He actually compared it to "when you have your car fixed you don't watch them fix it." My child is NOT a car! Are you serious? Also my insurance card says my co-pay is $5 but he charges $10 so who knows what is up with that, I didn't say anything about that so that is probably my own fault.

Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and everything. They were so nice and professional and even called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They have some of the cleanest dental equipment I have ever seen. They make an extra effort to make sure they only use the best for their patients.

My experience was amazing!!! Faculty showed their best interest in my health and answered all my questions. I was well informed about every one of the procedures that were taken place. I would most definitely recommend this office to close friends and family.

Dr Edward Suh is a very competent Dentist who made four - Front/Upper Crowns for me. Initially, when I registered his office for my dental needs with Managed Dental Care (Div. of Guardian)an HMO plan which he is a member of, I got a quote for $2,200 for this work. He intially ignored the co-pays, which he was to go by with Managed Dental Care, which the insurance Co. says that he is suppose to abide by. The insurance co. called him on it. . . and he then lowered his price to $1,350. . . .still way above the co-pays. After I have had these crowns now for 1-year & 3-mos, the smaller-one of the four crowns comes out with a tiny hole in the back. I go back to ask him what can he do for me. . . .and his answer is that he can make another one for $600, which is over $300-more than what I paid for the crowns ($1,350 X 4 = $337.50/ea.) He also asked me to "go to another dentist." In my opinion, this was an insult, & to try & get me to pay double for this one tooth. I believe that he was still unhappy about me "checking-him" with the Insurance co. initially. Dr. Suh also just on October 16th turned my 4-year-old Grandson away for a 6-mos check & cleaning, because I am his Grandfather (heard from Dr Suh by my Daughter-in-law.) This is another insult to another member of my family. If anyone has an HMO policy, I believe that Dr Suh will never honor it, but will always charge what he wants to charge. I have lived in Buena Park for over 33-years & went to Dr Suh because he is less-than-a-mile-away from me. After his cold treatment of me & a family member (who is very innocent) there is NO WAY I would recommend him to ANYONE. I also have reported him to the O.C.Dental Society, which they encouraged me to do & of course to Managed Dental Care Insurance.
