Monarch Dental Fayetteville, Arkansas.
During my appointment last friday, I told the dentist repeatedly (at least 5 times, but probably more) that I wasn't feeling the nitrous, at all..and he answered me repeatedly that it was maxed out and pulled my tooth without it which caused a horrible reaction, It's called a vasovagal attack (also called neurocardiogenic syncope)..and is the main reason I asked for nitrous before I ever made my appointment. Nitrous oxide is a colorless gas at room temperature with a slightly sweet odor and taste. I also told them them I didn't even smell any nitrous and was informed it is odorless..which is a blatant lie. Richard Smith has a condescending demeanor and tried to convince me it was my own body chemistry that made the nitrous fail. His assistant, of course, agreeing with everything Mr Smith was saying. Now mind you I have had nitrous at least 20 times throughout my life..and NEVER has it just not worked AT ALL. You can't convince me there isn't something rather sinister in your actions yesterday Mr Smith. Trust me, you don't want to be at this guy's mercy. He has none. if you want to make money like any business would, you certainly wouldn't want a dentist who does these things..right? I won't be going back because of him. I figure if you employ someone that sadistic, then I don't want to be there, nor do any of my friends or family. If you are going to reach out, then refund the money I spent on the nitrous at the very least. I can't believe he just gets away with this crap. he is very dishonest and therefore not a place I would want to be for the care of my teeth. I trusted you..and when I told them they CAN'T do this to people, they said "do what?" God forbid they take responsibility for what they did. Thinking about contacting an attorney, but pretty sure this sob knows what he can and cannot get away with.
