My OBGYN is awesome, but they are super short handed on staff. I'm constantly waiting on the phone and I have to call multiple times to get something as simple as a receipt sent to me. If I wasn't so loyal to my OBGYN I would have left years ago. It hasn't really changed staffing wise.

Thoughtless. I was told on a Wednesday based on ultrasound that I was probably having a miscarriage - but they would do 2 HCG levels to be sure - one Wednesday and one Friday. The doctor said the results would be back by Friday afternoon as long as I had the second sample drawn early enough in the day. I was at the lab when it opened at 8:30 to have the second sample done. I received a call from a nurse at 3:45 on Friday saying the tests were not back yet and while they could still be back later this afternoon they "close early" on Fridays and are closing now so I won't have the results until Monday. So I have to sit and wait on pins and needles all weekend not knowing if my baby is alive or dead so the "caring" staff can get a jump start on their weekend. Super sensitive. Oh - and as I was leaving from the initial appointment the front staff said, with no empathy or emotion, as if I just ordered a big mac, "I'm cancelling all your future appointments until we get this test back". Way to be positive and sensitive. I don't even know what to expect if I miscarry this weekend... no one went over this with me, just "call if you get cramps or bleeding" - I guess I'll google it??? I am a veterinarian and we treat our animal patients better than this, hands down. I will be surely finding a different provider in the future.
