When I switched to this practice to receive my annual exams and birth control pills, I had originally wanted to get in to see the female doctor. They set up an appointment for me and then called me about 2 weeks prior to inform me she wouldn't be in that day and I would need to push my appointment out another couple weeks after the original scheduled date. In order to still continue to receive birth control pills, I had to call my old doctor (who was now an hour away) and arrange to get a prescription for 1 more month of pills. 2 days prior to my new appointment, Litchfield County Ob/Gyn called to tell me that the female doctor wasn't going to be there for my appointment again, and that I'd need to reschedule again and the first available appt was quite a ways out. My old doctor was no longer willing to give me another month of pills, so I was forced to see one of the male doctors at Litchfield County (Dr. McKeon) in order to be able to get any birth control pills. I didn't appreciate this, as I prefer to see a female gynecologist. Dr. McKeon seemed nice enough, but apparently the doctors here don't write out the prescriptions - they just sign them and the girl behind the checkout desk (looks to be ~25) writes them out. I had a question on a prescription that was sent to me (the # of pills I received suddenly from 30 down to 5, same dosage) so I called and front desk staff refused to check with the doctor to see if a mistake had been made. She just kept repeating that whatever he wrote was what he wanted me to take. I informed her that the doctor didn't write it, the girl behind the desk did (I watched her write it out and the doctor was nowhere near). She informed me that "well, he tells her what to write". I said I thought she had made a mistake and asked if she could please check with the doctor. She refused and kept repeating that whatever was on there was what he wanted me to take. The front desk staff was also not very helpful and borderline rude on another occasion as well. I finally decided to use another facility where I can see a female gynecologist and not have to deal with unhelpful and lazy desk staff.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Absolutely, even the bathrooms are handicap-accessible

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!

I was able to relax during my appointment here. Most of the nurses are kind.. Their full attention is always on me, although sometimes I feel that they are rushed. They seemed to have known the basics of my medical history before my examination. They asked the usual questions but didn't go into much detail. The building is handicap accessible.
