They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. Even if you miss an appointment, the doctor will call you after hours, to make sure that you are ok and to follow up on your health care. I have been a patient at busy practices before, where elderly or frail patients took up a lot of the doctor's time, and it was hard to get an appointment if you were a younger patient - I rarely have to wait more than a day to get in to see Dr. Moss. When I went in with a lump in my breast in 2009 (which turned out to be cancerous), Dr. Moss made sure that I had appointments for mammography, ultrasound, and with a surgical oncologist before I left that day. While under the care of my oncologist during treatment, Dr. Moss checked on my progress, kept track of my treatment, and adjusted my ongoing prescriptions to account for the chemo. Both my husband and I are under her care.
