I've been a long time patient of Dr. Benedetto and think she's great. I am happy with her and wish I only had to speak to her. Her staff on the other hand is very rude and difficult to deal with. The receptionist in particular when your appointment is done and you need to pay is absolutely the most unprofessional person I have ever encounted at a professional facility. She was beyond short and rude to me when I had questions about a bill and when I asked her to find the person I had a consultation with, I overheard her talking badly about me no more than ten feet from me. When the receptionist returned, I told her I heard the negative comments both of them said about me and she didn't care, didn't apologize and continued to be rude to me and blaming me for not knowing about the charge. This very receptionist booked my laser consultation a few months prior (while I was there in person from an office visit with Dr. Benedetto) and never told me that the consultation would cost $150. I was equally very upset with the women who did the consultation since she spent no more than 10 minutes talking to me about the procedure... I had told her I had done some research on my own so she skipped most of the info, gave me a packet of paperwork to read up on, looked at my skin for maybe 5 seconds and was rude to me during this time. So I have a big problem paying $150.00 for a 'consultation' that lasted at most 10 minutes, gave me little info on the procedure, no advance verbal or written disclosure about the fee AND was then bad mouthed by her and the receptionist at the time of checking out. This facility needs to learn how to communicate properly and value their patients.

dismissive attitude. "diagnosed" a rash as something it could not possibly be, twice. too bad other offices aren't accepting new patients, otherwise never would have made a second appointment here. willing to "treat" the symptom with an easy prescription, but makes no effort to find out the cause & offers no explanation. same with colleague. just go elsewhere. it's minor, but the receptionist is very rude & has no phone etiquette. she has no record that the office had us switch doctors and accused us of not being "able to stick with one." verbatim.

I have been a patient of the doctor for over 25 years. I am a skin cancer survivor as well as other cancers when I noticed some questionable spots next to where I was operaqted in the past. I called for an appointment and was told that the doctor could not see me until March of 2012. Concidering my condition I think that this office needs to deffirentiate priorities and set aside some emergency visits for existing loyal patients. I wanted to speak with the doctor but was told she could not do anything for me because she hired her to make her appointments. I'm so dissapointed I had good feeings about this doctor but now I guess I will have to look elsewhere for another Dermatologist that cares enough to make some exeptions where they need to be.

They had quite a few interesting magazines, which did not really matter much considering the amount of time I had to wait for my appt 9 out of 10 times they were always late. Every time I'd ask a question, it seemed like they (office workers) were annoyed and didn't want to give me an answer. I understand they're busy, but they should really treat their clients better. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. The one thing about this place is their lack of customer service.
