Today was my first visit to this facility. I have a broken tooth that needs to be extracted. I had an appointment and the wait time was still long. Once I was able to see the dentist, I was met with a nonpersonal coldness. Once she went over my charts, she looked at my tooth and, because of my dental anxiety (which affects 15% of Americans), she jumped back and said "No, no, no... you need a surgeon. Because you have stated you have anxiety and have it written on your chart, I will not extract your tooth." She continued on about the safety of her office and the patient... over anxiety. She then walked to the door and would not face me to continue the conversation. I had to turn around in my dental chair to see her. It was as if the dentist was done with me and could not wait to get out of the room. The conversation between us was heard by everyone in the vicinity. As we walked up to the receptionist counter, right in front of me, she told the receptionist who greeted me, "I need to talk to you." I am mortified and will not go back. Awful visit.

I had to wait for a little while.

Absolutely not. I was forced to call the emergency room.
