I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they followed up even after my appointment just to check up on me. It was such a nice gesture that made a huge difference. What I really loved was how friendly the doctor and staff were here. I felt so welcome and will definitely be with them for the long haul. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen.

Dr Scott Green prescribed me Paxil in 2007 when I complained about this feeling I was having like something was stuck in my throat. I also told him that I am worrier. He told me that Paxil is not addictive drug and that it is prescribed to teenagers. He also told me that I might have a stomach cancer prior to doing any testing. After going to a specialist I was diagnosed with Barret Esophagus and was prescribed high dosage of Omeprazole which cured my something stuck in my throat feeling. That's when I decided I wanted to stop taking Paxil. I couldn't! I went through severe withdrawal which I didn't even know about. I thought that it was me who would be normally like this if didn't take this medicine. So I continued taking Paxil. I found out about Paxil's withdrawal symptoms on the internet myself and was very unhappy that Dr. Green didn't warn me about this. Now I weaned myself off Paxil and truly fell into deep depression. Only now I really relate to those TV commercials about Depression, loss of interest, no energy, thoughts of suicide when I had no idea about when I was prescribed Paxil. I should not have been prescribed this medicine to begin with and take Dr Green Scott accountable for the way I feel today. Dr Green Scott stole my life from me!!!

Dr. Green is always telling me about the new articles he's read and how he is incorporating that knowledge into the practice. He is a thoughtful, careful and caring physician and his staff are top notch professionals! At Academy Park Family Practice, putting their customers first is definitely a priority and it shows. .
