I recently stopped seeing John Sealy, since patient care was horrible. For $400 an hour, I expected an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan to improve my symptoms.

Sadly, John is a clock watching physician which makes it difficult on patients. I went over 10 minutes and he explaines how he was doing me a favor not charging me $100. There was no patient waiting to see him, so should not have been big deal.

Additionally, I found it strange he never offered a therapist when I mentioned I thought one could assist me.

Please avoid him and seek out a less condescending physician. UCLA was able to locate a great physician, who helped me overcome my symptoms. They can be reached at (424) 634-1657.

Diagnosed 2 conditions that had gone undiagnosed or misdiagnosed for decades by 2 previous health providers. Vey conservative and conscientious as far as the prescribing of medications. Supportive, attentive, has my kind of sense of humor (somewhat dry, quick wit). Is absolutely non-judgmental. Returns routine phone calls within 24 hours. Has a separate "emergency only" number that gets answered or generates a return call almost immediately. Comfortable office with a quiet, serene feeling to it.

Highly recommend. I have been seeing him for 6 years. Patient, understanding, I wasn't certain how he respond to the information I had to share each time and he always came with no judgment and a patient but concerned understanding to tackle the issue together. He considers the whole person and all aspects of stress, health, work and life environment, etc.

I started seeing Dr Sealy when I was 24.
There were many issues in my life.
Today I am 65 and still keep in contact with Dr Sealy
I feel Dr Sealy has been a great guiding force in my life
He helped me through many hard times and helped me become the happy person I am today
After forty years on and off treatment, I feel he has been the best investment of my life
I can strongly recommend him

Stay away from this physician. As a result of his misdiagnosis, he prescribed me unnecessary medications. When informed him or severe side effects, he got upset that I would question his diagnosis. Unfortunately, I could not return to work from the severe side effects of medications. I was admitted to ER numerous times as a result of the medications. My body became dependant on the addictive medications. The doctor never agreed to help stop the medications he prescribed. Upon leaving this doctor, it was confirmed that he made a medication error. He seemed more concerned with receiving his $400/hr payment than helping me get better. It is very sad that he would not recognize severe medication side effects. I am finally off medications, but am not the same cognitively than before taking medications.

I saw provider for over 1 year. I was misdiagnosed and put on unnecessary medications. Provider was mainly concerned about payment rather than getting me proper treatment. I had to wait quite a while for my appointment. I was very disappointed. New provider identified treatment and medication errors. They never made any effort to follow up with me after my visit and it made me feel very unimportant. I know they see a lot of patients, but when you say you're going to follow up, you should. They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Getting an appointment at this office wasn't too difficult. They had a few different appointment times available but none were perfect for my schedule.
