UNCARING AND UNPROFESSIONAL
I was referred to Dr. Cross by my psychologist and was told that there were no openings for more than a month. I made the appointment and waited. A few days before I was scheduled to go in, I received a message that my appointment was canceled and that the doctor would not take any more new patients.
I would expect someone in her position to realize that she is dealing with people in emotional distress. What she did was unethical and unprofessional. I wasted a month waiting for this woman, in a very difficult time of my life, and now I have to start from scratch with a new doctor.
She clearly lacks compassion -- not a good trait in a psychiatrist.
