... he's a butcher! Operates a Avenue J chop-shop, slicing and dicing patients, bunions, limb amputations, general surgery at cut rate price for the HMO's, for cent on the dollar, doing dirty-work for the infamous High Desert Medical Group, in Lancaster, California. Forgets little things, like medicating patients ex post surgery; when revived, they awaken screaming in agony. Not a good surgeon. But, the HMOs just love him! --
Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome here. The front office staff was very unprofessional. I was trying to inquire on my referral authorization that my PCP had faxed over and to make an appointment and they kept me on hold forever. I called twice and each time they kept on telling me that they didn't receive my referral, to give it 3-4hours because that's how long it took to receive faxes from my PCP's office. I personally faxed a copy of the referral from my home and I called again to inquire about it. They answered and put me on hold and transferred me to a very aggresive staff member that told me in a very rude way that they had received 3 faxes. I confronted her by letting her know that every time I had called to inquire about it, the office staff including her, kept on telling me that they had not received it. She then rudely told me that I had and appointment today. I told her that this couldn't be possible because the insurance had authorized and faxed the referral today in the morning. She kept on being very rude and telling me that someone had done the appointment on Friday from Urgent Care, where I was seen. I told her that this couldn't have been possible because the authorization was approved and faxed by my insurance company today and then I asked her if their office was open until Midnight or weekends. Ofcourse I knew they weren't because it's a private doctor's clinic that is located in a building that I have visited before. She replied to me in a very aggitated way " Obviously Not!" so, I told her that then nobody from Urgent Care could have done the appointment because I was treated and discharged Friday at Midnight. She had nothing to say for a second and then she replied "Then you want me to cancel today's appointment?! " An appointment that nobody did nor anybody was aware of. I would never visit them nor attempt to deal with this unprofessional staff. I am extremely disappointed. Fortunately, I was able to receive another referral authorization to see another Doctor. My feelings are regarding the unprofessionalism of the Medical Office Staff and Definately NOT of the Doctor.
