This doctor is a joke for a lack of better words. She is overloaded and doesn't have time for her patients. Yesterday at my 18 wk check up she came in and told my husband and I that our daughter had a cyst on her brain, we tried to ask questions but she didn't have time to elaborate. My husband left 4 messages with staff to speak with with the doctor after our appointment and she did not call back. We were left to worry. There office personnel is extremely rude and defensive. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere that will respect you and your unborn baby.

Dr. Mazarei took actions that resulted in the abortion of my unborn child. At 5 weeks I had some slight spotting, the u/s reported no fetal pole just a gestational sac. Dr. Mazarei diagnosed me with a potential blighted ovum and told me I could expect to miscarry. In my heart I felt it was too ealry to make that diagnoses but I trusted her opinion. The following week I had a gush of blood and felt certain that I was miscarrying. I called and Dr. Mazarei suggested I come in so she could administer a drug called cytotec to help me expel the remaining tissue. I'd just like to point out she never recommended another u/s nor did she check an hcg until after she had administered the drug. I bled for 10 days but still felt pregnant. 2 weeks later she rechecked me and an ultrasound confirmed I had a seemingly healthy baby inside me. I was thrilled! When I spoke with her she told me the drug she had administered had the potential cause severe birth defects and that I had to make the decision of wether I wanted to abort the pregnancy or chance having a malformed baby. I was beyond devestated. I spoke with genetic counselors and got a second opinion. In the end no one could really tell me what my chances were. Since the more serious neurologic conditions could never be diagnosed until the baby was born, and my mental health was crumbling rapidly, my husband and I had to make the horrible choice to abort the baby that we had tried so hard to conceive. I'm sure Dr. Mazarei did not intend to harm me or my child but she did. She made assumptions without confiming her beliefs. I am healing physically but emotionally I will always be scarred. I pray that she never harms another woman in the this way again.

They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. I had to look for a long time before I finally found their qualifications. They need to make them more obvious. I did not feel safe with them at all. I was scared that something was going to go wrong.

This place I only went to after the first visit because I moved and was two weeks tell my due date and was almost impossible to get another doctor in time. Wall paper peeling off by vents, trash cans over flowing onto ground, never noticed and hand washing between clients, tiny danger stickers over opened trash cans had to put magazines over them so my toddler wouldn't get into it, equipment was dusty and had stuff on it like never cleaned, doctor had blood stains on scrubs. I felt very unsafe...needless to say I went all the way to an appointment driving 25-30 min one way and waited 10 min (not bad) tell appointment, go and undress to get checked on how dilated I am since due date 4 days away....waited 35 min on table unaddressed with toddler on my belly waiting. The girl working there walks in tells me sorry she had an delivery to do. So I ask if someone can check me and see if baby on ultrasound is still positioned correctly since a week previous she was breeched but flipped a few days later. Not a single person qualified to do anything there she stumbled her words not knowing what to say. They told me to lay there and wait for who knows how long could be a c section or so forth. Seriously VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Who does on call deliveries and has a practice without a back up...never seen that before this is my forth pregnancy and by far worst place I've ever been into worse or just as bad as a open clinic. So no reschedule appointment or concern for my baby...didn't ask if I'm ok or anything. Unbelievable...DON'T GO TO HER!

They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily.
