Staples were used to suture after the C-section. I was not consulted about this decision. Every relative that had a C-section was astonished at the scar that I was left with. Luckily, on my second pregnancy, my new doctor immediate saw that botched scar and promised to fix it. My new doctor explained that the staples were used just because it was quicker and easier for the doctor, leaving my body with the consequences.
