Dr Etchbaum Did surgery on my back in Oct. 2008 the day after my 80 birthday. It has been wonderful ever since. I'm only sorry he move so far away thank you for the great surgery.

I was refered to this dr. by my former surgeon for a 3rd back surgery, which is very serious. I waited 10 weeks for my appointment and when I got there I had to sit in the over-crowded waiting area for an hour. Then I was in the room for quite a while. When I finally saw the man he had no idea why I was there. It was very obvious he wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible. When he realized he wasn't rubber-stamping a second opinion, he was to do the surgery himself he couldn't wait to cut me apart. He said "I'll do surgery on you right now." When I expressed concern about the invasiveness of the surgery and had questions he was extremely rude and tried to bully me into it with intimadation and threats of a miserable life. I grabbed my x-rays and got out as fast as I could. I don't understand how my former surgeon could have sent me to him, I thought he cared about me. I've been so depressed since this horrible experience, I am moving to another city be closer to my family and can hopefully find a physician with compassion who will concider me as a whole person, and not someone with a huge ego who just wants to dissect me like a frog.
