Dr. Richard Ostrup was a highly recommended referral for my degenerative spondylolisthesis.

I was experiencing excruciating pain and loosing the ability to walk and use my legs. Dr. Ostrup performed a laminectory for spondylolisthesis, which was causing severe spinal stenosis.

My pain is gone, and I am now able to walk without a walker or a cane and am not in need of pain medication.

Dr. Ostrup is an exceptional neurosurgeon who is realistic and compassionate. His practice manager, Erica, is remarkably kind and proficient.

Dr. Ostrup performed a three level cervical fusion on me in a five hour surgical procedure. To my surprise, I was ready to be released from the hospital the next day and Dr Ostrup concurred. Since then I have only taken probably five of the prescribed pain pills and an occasional Tylenol. Excellent results. Great doctor. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Ostrup is an amazing surgeon and a wonderful person. I would highly recommend him to anyone without any hesitation.
After having a bad fall and literally breaking my neck I found myself in a trauma situation and needed a neurosurgeon. I was assigned Dr. Ostrup.
I don't think I could have made a better decision choosing a surgeon even if it was elective surgery and I had time to do as much research as I wanted. From the first time we met in the hospital to my latest follow-up visit he always spends as much time as needed to consider everything that is going on and any concerns I might have. (Great bedside manner!)
He is very respectful, understanding, and easy to talk to. In my opinion, you simply can't go wrong choosing Dr. Ostrup.

I was in severe pain when I made my appointment with Dr. Ostrup. I had tried physical therapy, had been to a chiropractor, had epidural shots and nothing could relieve my suffering for any considerable period of time. The office staff, I spoke with Erica who is terrific, got my appointment and had my consultation with Dr. Ostrup. He was very courteous, informative, absolutely no pressure to have the surgery and provided me with some surgery options.
After having the surgery I am able to honestly say that I am pain free and have resumed my normal activities that I was doing before the surgery. If you are experiencing that chronic pain that just won't go away you will understand what a relief (miracle) it feels like to be "normal" once again. I am very grateful to Dr. Ostrup for the great work he did in giving me my life "back."

No, putting customers first doesn't really seem to be a priority to them
