Doctor Larson is thankfully not my primary physician. First, his office is a run down building located on Drumm Street right next to the 7-11. The lobby is filled with year old magazines, deteriorating furnishings and a strange aroma I couldn't quite figure out. His receptionist is difficult to understand and isn't very helpful. A few weeks ago I visited his office for the third and final time. This last visit was horrible, first of all he was 43 minutes late to my scheduled appointments (yes, I was staring at my watch, I was on my lunch hour). Once he finally came back from lunch I was seen. Although I carried my valid insurance card and presented it to the receptionist when I arrived he felt the need to verify my coverage and left me in the patient room or broom closet depending on how you look at it. While he was out I decided to call my insurance company and I got through very quickly, I handed the phone to Dr. Larson who then got into some kind of verbal altercation with the Customer Service Representative at my health insurance, he inevitably hung up on her. Now with my coverage verified it was finally time to begin my appointment but there was a new problem, I had to return to work, I was already 10 minutes late. He was so mad when I informed him that I had to go back to work he literally said "whatever" and slammed the patient door shut on me as he stormed away.
If you prefer a doctor who is reliable, professional, polite and cares about the maintenance of his office and the well being of his patients Dr. Lorry Larson is definitely not the doctor for you.
