The doctor is extremely disorganized and frazzled. Her office is disorganized with little privacy.
Her billing practices are dubious. She requires the patients to sign a global ABN, which basically enables her to do whatever treatment she wants during her visit with you, without notifying tne patient of any portiion of the visit that may not be coveted by the insurance.
For example, i thought i was having a regular family foctor appointment for which she is in network with my insurance.
She charged my insurance for the covered part.
Months later she notified me that she also performed integrative services during that same visit. I have no idea what those integrative setvices were, to this day she refuses to itemize or give more of an explanation on the services. But because i signed the ABN i am now luable for an adfitional thousands of $ for services i would have never accepted to have had had.
She knows patients are confused about her cgarges, yet she does not even try to be more specific about costs.
As far as i know now, an ABN needs to state the specific amount for the specific treatment in question, before a patient can sign and before it constitutes informed concent.

Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

Not at all; the equipment is dangerous!
